Mobilising Communities against HIV/AIDS, STIs, Tuberculosis and Malaria

The Good Neighbour

TGN provided the platform for civil society organisations collaborations with the Lagos State AIDS Control Agency by facilitating civil society organisations response to HIV/AIDS control in the State (2005 - 2012).

TGN is now providing the platform for civil society organisations collaborations with the State TB and Leprosy Control program through Africa Civil Society organisations for the Support and Care of TB Patients in Nigeria (ACT! Nigeria Chapter).

TGN have executed several community interventions on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

TGN is a member of the Stop TB Partnership Geneva

To help build a society that is sensitized to public health issues including sexual and reproductive health in order to improve their wellbeing.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to sensitise, inform and educate the most at risk populations on public health and related issues including sexual and reproductive health in order to enable them make informed decision concerning their wellbeing.

TGN Objectives

To Disseminate

To disseminate quality and comprehensive information in the sexual and reproductive health including HIV/AIDS and public health field thus orientating the public towards making optimum life saving decisions.

To Mobilise

To mobilise communities through public health interventions on Tuberculosis and Malaria to ensure disease free communities.

To Enlighten

To enlighten the most at risk populations in the sexual and reproductive health including HIV/AIDS and public health issues to effect behaviour change.

To Improve

To improve civil society organisations participation on health policy issues through capacity building of advocacy networks, coalitions and key policy stakeholders.
